Mission

The Local Civil Registrar’s Office is committed to preserving, producing, and providing high-quality statistical and civil registration products and services that support the improvement and social well-being of all PlarideleΓ±os.

Mandate

Registration of all acts and events concerning the civil status of persons from birth to death including the charges taking place therein and recording them in the appropriate civil registry books.

Services Offered

  1. Registration of Births, Marriage, Death, Application of Marriage License, Legal Instruments and Petitions for Correction (R.A. 9048 / R.A. 10172)
  2. Accepts registrable documents affecting civil status of person.
  3. File, keep and preserve in a secured place all civil documents registered by the LCRO.
  4. Transmit to the office of the Civil Registrar General through PSA Provincial Office every 10th day of the month the duplicate copies of documents registered during the preceding month.
  5. Issued Certified True Copies and certifications of civil registry documents upon payment of the prescribed fees.
  6. Accepts application for the issuance of marriage license after all the requirements have been complied with and shall issue marriage license upon payment of the prescribed fee.
  7. Administer oaths for civil registration free of charge.
  8. Act on petitions to correct clerical or typographical error / change of first name / sex / month and date of birth pursuant to R.A. 9048 / R.A. 10172.
  9. Act on application for legitimation under R.A. 9255, AUSF under R.A. 9255, Supplemental Report and Late Acknowledgement (Legal Instruments).
  10. Conduct information dissemination, mobile registration and mass wedding.
  11. Assist and coordinate with PSA Provincial Office in conducting educational campaigns and other related programs for LGU Plaridel.
