Mission
To establish a reliable office, empowered by proficient, efficient, effective and steadfast employees which is motivated by best practices, accountability and good governance in the quest of its goals and objectives as provided by law in line with supply and property management, maintenance of buildings and grounds, government vehicles and other services; and request for the use of government equipment and facility.
Mandate
Formulate measures, take custody and be accountable for all properties of the Municipality, perform record management with respect to supplies and inventory of properties of the Municipality and perform all other functions pertaining to supply and property management and maintenance.
Functional Statement
The General Services Office (under the Mayor’s Office) provides technical assistance to the Local Chief Executive (LCE) in carrying out measures to ensure the delivery of basic services and adequate facilities and develop plans and strategies; implement the same, particularly those which have to do with the general services supportive of the people’s welfare.
In addition to the foregoing duties and functions the General Services Office shall;
Assist the custody of supplies and properties owned by the Municipality;
Perform janitorial services, safeguarding the landscape of municipal parks and monuments;
Maintenance of buildings (minor repairs), vehicles and equipment’s;
Assist in special activities and events performed;
And other related services in all Local Government Buildings and facility.
